Skyscrapin' Heels
Mihai Albu, the Romanian "shoe architect," have taken shoes to new heights. He has created stilettos that will give your gams a 12-inch boost. But Albu's shoes of epic proportions come at astronomical prices. In a country where the average salary is £450 a month, these shoes cost £1,300. Albu uses French leather and embellishes the shoes with jewels, feathers, mirrors, and apparently tiki masks! One thing is for sure, the shoes make quite the statement. At 5'8, these shoes would make me a lofty 6'8"...take THAT Michael Jordan. [DailyMail]

Alexander McQueen
Which designer who recently died was HIV+ and was distraught over the fact he had infected at least four other people?
This is too sad and I really hope it's not true.

The Dirty Side of Glamour
No, this isn't the sequel to "I Know Who Killed Me." Lindsay Lohan paired up with Tyler Shields for this "The Dirty Side of Glamour" photo shoot. Lohan let her dark (and loco) side out in the bloody photos.
“Everyone has an idea of Lindsay Lohan and last night I had the pleasure of working with her she is a huge art lover and simply wanted to create some and that is exactly what we did! -Tyler Shields, on his blogI like the edgy photos, and maybe it acted as a sort of catharsis for the troubled star. Plus, you have to give a girl credit where credit is due--Lindsay rocks those red lips, Raybans, and fabulous heels.

Mall Hauls
A new phenomenon has hit the Internet called "Mall Hauls." Teenagers from all over are going to the malls and then coming home and posting videos sharing their recent purchases. In the same way that girls excitedly chat about the new stuff they just bought amongst a group of friends, now teens are sharing it with the World Wide Web. You might think that no one would care about what a stranger bought at the mall that day, however the Mall Haul videos are gaining a lot of attention. After wasting 8 minutes of my life that I can never get back, I conclude that the videos are mind-numbingly stupid, but the others seem to disagree. Allthatglitters21 and juicystar07 are two sisters, Blair and Elle Fowler, who do Mall Hauls together and post them on their Youtube accounts; a recent video describing their shopping spree at Forever21 received over 1,072,000 views. The girls have a large fan-base and were even on Good Morning America for being renowned Mall Haulers. Is the Mall Haul sensation just a passing fad, or will retail companies continue to reap the benefits of this free publicity?
